A toolkit to naming emotions.

The process is: emotions are singular, they coalesce in feelings; which are more than one emotion in a complex understanding, then they contribute to reality in the behavioural patterns that are triggered by that feeling.

All feelings will include complex emotions, so the more we can hone in on our individual emotions the better; there may be many in one scenario, and one feeling, the easier it is for us to return to joy & peaceful states of being. This is a practise, so go gently, we don’t always have time to deep dive in our lives, but recognising, and becoming familiar with, how you feel in each moment will help.

No emotion is more important than another, some can be convenient, or inconvenient, we may desire to have one and not another, but the truth is that we feel all the emotions, and recognising them fully is the fastest way to return to a state of balance and calm.
