How to write for I-Feel

I-Feel is a safe relational space, where feelings are celebrated, in gratitude, love, and kindness. It’s a space to explore your own feeling process, through recognising emotions, and expressing and sharing them constructively.

It’s a space for exploration of your feelings through prose. You don’t have to do it in a certain way, no-one can invent a new feeling, however everyone’s feelings are unique to their life experience and process. Every experience has it’s own unique expression within each individual, share it. We would be honoured.

Feelings are sometimes complex and hard. Celebrate that. Find the lesson in the challenge if you can. You don’t have to be successful, or a go-getter. You just have to feel.

Here at I-Feel, I believe that acknowledging and accepting feelings in a safe container; a space to be heard, goes a long way in people’s lives, it can create better relationships. Please don’t share anything sensitive about anyone else without their permission to do so. This is about honouring your emotional process.

There are a few ground rules:

  • Sharing feelings constructively.

As above, feelings are complex sometimes, they’re hard and sticky, and can be joyous amongst the challenging. Approach them with awareness and constructively explore them.

  • “I” Statements only.
