Thank you for highlighting this bias again Linda, it's a little scary to see that story of the apes and the bananas, I wonder how it is that we can assure this culture changes in the long term, cultural narrative?

I'm currently involved in a lot of men's work, which teaches men to treat women respectfully, and equitably. I see this as a response to the #metoo and #feminist movements, there's also a huge wave coming in terms of the sexual abuse that young boys and men have experienced.

Maybe all we can do is heal the trauma that each of us have within us, from the fear that's been instilled in us, about climbing the ladder to get the bananas.
