This speaks to me less of wanting the actual advice and more of asking for mentorship and guidance for their own confidence. You're not responsible for providing that of course, but the cultural narrative is very much skewed to hand-holding over the next line. I remember stewing through all the what ifs and never achieving the thing I wanted. Before I realised talking to someone whose actually done the thing I want to do, and knows that it's possible and perceives it as easy, is more motivating than anything else.
